The Musée POP is honoured to welcome a new exhibition of students from Secondary 1 and 3 of the Académie les Estacades. Entitled Western Inspirations, their artistic creation is based on our exhibition Our Wild West, retracing the history of the "Festival western de St-Tite”. Their works will be in showcases in the Musée POP lobby until April 2019.

Students from first grade made belt buckles using an embossed aluminum engraving technique and students from third grade created a variety of art pieces related to cowboys. Boots, horses and objects of all kinds where made using modeling, papier-maché and paint.

It's the second exhibition of students from the Académie les Estacades at the museum. Their creative process pursued in their art class has the distinction of being inspired by our exhibition. It is also a great opportunity for students and their teachers to show the results of their work in a museum!

The exhibition is free and will be available until April 2019.
