The Museolab

The Museolab was born from the collaboration between DigiHub Shawinigan and our museum. The project: creating a place to explore new digital museum practises. Thanks to the talent and expertise of DigiHub’s heritage and digital museology businesses, the Musée POP will host projects, prototypes and ideas that address the challenges it faces. With the collaboration of our visitors, these prototypes will be modified, improved and adjusted.

The Museolab is above all a co-creation adventure – first with the museum and cultural milieu to define the needs and challenges of the museum, second with the companies that explore creative digital approaches, and third with the public who contributes to the improvement of our prototypes. The goal of our Living Lab is nothing less than defining the museum practises of tomorrow!
