Accessibility for people with restricted physical ability

The Musée POP is completely accessible to people with reduced mobility and accepts the Leisure Accompaniment Card (Carte accompagnement loisir, CAL). As a person with reduced mobility or a disability, you do not have to pay for your companion’s entry to the Musée POP. However, you must pay for your own admission.

You can find a description of the museum’s facilities on the Kéroul website.

The Vieille prison (Old Prison) is partially wheelchair accessible. While you can move through the corridors, you cannot enter the cells due to the narrow doorways in this historic 1822 building. There is an elevator to access the upper floor, and you can enter the building through the museum. However, there is no access to the basement dungeons. Nevertheless, the visit is still fascinating as the guides explain the history of prison life from the past to the present.
