From June 24th, the Museum and the Old Prison are open every day, from 10am to 5pm. The tour of the Old Prison in English takes place daily at 12:15 PM. It is important to make a reservation, as space is limited.

FROM MONTREAL: exit 199 to Centre-ville, turn right on St-Roch Street, turn left on Notre-Dame Street, go up to Laviolette. Follow the road sign: Musée POP

From Highway 20
TO TROIS-RIVIÈRES: Take Highway 20, direction Trois-Rivières. Take exit 26: Bécancour/ Trois-Rivières for the road 55 North. Continue straight to Trois-Rivières. After Laviolette’s bridge, take exit 182 to take Highway 40 East Trois-Rivières/ Centre-Ville/ Québec. Take exit 199 to Centre-ville, turn right on St-Roch Street, turn left on Notre-Dame Street, go up to Laviolette. Follow the road sign: Musée POP

By bus
The Museum is located a 5-minute walk from the Orléans Express bus terminal connecting Montreal, Quebec City, Sherbrooke and Saguenay/Lac-St-Jean.

The Société de transport de Trois-Rivières (STTR) has several stops near the Museum.

By bike

The Museum has bike racks. In addition, it is close to section 5 of the Route Verte.

Parking

Parking

The Museum does not have its own parking lot. However, you can find a parking space nearby. The Capitanal Building lot, just beside the Museum, offers parking spots for $9 per day.  For more information, visit the Commercial development Downtown Society of Trois-Rivières website.
